The theme of Twin Falls Optimist Club annual essay contest was Chasing Optimism in the Face of Challenges.  All the students in the Magic Valley were invited to participate through their schools. O’Leary Middle School had a clean sweep. The winners were First Place: Jeremy Case who won $150, Second Place: Kenydi Young  ($125), and Third Place:  Kaitlyn DeBie  ($100). Jeremy Case’s essay went on to compete at the Pacific Northwest District level. 


The Twin Falls Optimist Club is a civic group serving the youth in our community.  This past winter season the club provided over 1000 new coats for the youth of Magic Valley with this need through our “Coats for Kids” program.
